China Beidou Application Conference and the Tenth Annual Conference on China Satellite Navigation and Location Services Opened in Zhengzhou

     On October 10, the China Beidou Application Conference and the Tenth Annual Meeting of China Satellite Navigation and Location Services opened in Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

      With the deepening development of “BeiDou+” and “+BeiDou”, “industry+BeiDou” newborn industry has had a positive impact on the market scale and the expansion of application scenes. At present, the Beidou system has entered the key stage of globalization service scale application industrialization development, the national ‘14th Five-Year’ plan is also clearly put forward to deepen the application of Beidou, deepen the task of the promotion and application of Beidou system.

     According to the "2021 China Satellite Navigation and Location Service Industry Development White Paper" released by the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association, the overall output value of China's satellite navigation and location service industry in 2020 amounted to 403.3 billion yuan, an increase of about 16.9% compared with 2019.

     In this regard, the General Assembly pointed out that at present, the Beidou system has been fully served in transportation, public security, disaster relief and mitigation, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, urban governance and other industry sectors, integrated into the infrastructure of electricity, finance, communications and other infrastructure, and widely entered the field of mass consumption, sharing economy and people's livelihoods, which profoundly changed the way of production and life of people, and produced significant economic and social benefits.
